Designed by Gaetano Pesce for TBWA/Chiat/Day office in 1994, this sculptural coffee table features a lively colourful resin top with a smiling face and the words "I Am With You" written above. Supported by wiry steel legs and soft, rubber feet imbued with movement and personality. The table is springy, unsteady at times, and an embodiment of Pesce's playful relationship with instability. Beautiful, odd, and functional - this is a caring table. We imagine the workers at TBWA/Chiat/Day sitting down with a friend beside them.
