A night out rendered like a half-remembered dream, Silencio! captures the charged stillness of a scene just before it slips away. Glowing pink lights rise from the floor, casting long shadows as figures drift through the haze of cigarettes and sound.

Inspired by an evening at Le Silencio—the Paris nightclub designed by filmmaker David Lynch—Taylor Quitara channels the surreal energy of a space that exists somewhere between cinema and memory. Like its namesake in Mulholland Drive, this painting is less about narrative than atmosphere: disorienting, seductive, and suspended in time.
