Inspired by a photograph of the original models, Taylor Quitara was drawn to their magnetic presence, envisioning them lighting cigarettes and slipping into the smoky glamour of an imagined after-hours lounge.

Though rooted in reference, the scene becomes its own surreal reality on canvas.
