The occasion marks the first-ever U.S. presentation of the Broadway dining set, originally designed by Pesce and reissued by Meritalia® in a limited edition of 33 sets. Each set comprises a dining table, 4 four-legged chairs, and2nine-legged stools in orange and blue color variations, reinforcing the logic of deliberate variation and sculptural individuality that defines the project. Originally conceived in 1993, the Broadway series re-emerges here as one of Pesce’s most radical statements on domestic space. The 543 Broadway Chair rejects the language of industrial standardisation in favour of expressive imperfection: molded in multicoloured transparent epoxy resin, each piece behaves like a singular composition rather than a repeatable object. The chromed steel structure is punctuated by rubber feet wrapped in springs, introducing a subtle, almost performative instability.
