Memphis Squash

DESCRIPTION:

In 1985 Maria Sanchez created Squash, a series of ceramic bowls turned and painted by hand composed of three parts in multiple color schemes: the first piece made by the designer had a blue base and a yellow bowl, crossed diagonally by an oblong red block. The square combined with the bowl generates a captivating dynamic and asymmetrical composition.
