REBIRTH: A Gaetano Pesce exhibition

Kalei NYC is pleased to present REBIRTH: a monumental exhibition dedicated to Gaetano Pesce.

Anchoring the exhibition is Les Halles (1979), an architectural masterwork making its first public appearance in over three decades.

Also on view: a rare presentation of the Pratt Chairs (1984). Born from a radical question: is there truly a difference between art and design? REBIRTH brings together both the original “first 9” and later ‘re-issued’ editions; a rare convergence of material experimentation and enduring vision.

Early prototypes from the Broadway series (1993), an artist proof of the Square Lamp (1984), and more archival works will complete the exhibition.

This is not a retrospective. It’s a return.
